Flexi-Seal® Approved Waterproofing System - Manufacturer's Product Warranty

The products / system within the Flexi-Seal® Approved Waterproofing System are warranted for 15 years.

• In the event of product failure, clearly evidenced as being due to non performance of a manufactured component within the Flexi-Seal System, labour and product to remedy the situation will be provided free of charge.
• Other costs relating to rectification of floor / wall coverings, tiling and painting as a result of product failure will be as follows:
• Full rectification costs for the first five (5) years
• Every year after the initial five years (5) to a maximum of fifteen (15) years a 10% reduction of full cost rectification will apply
  (eg. At year twelve (12), 30% contribution to rectification will apply)
• Flexco (NZ) Ltd, in conjunction with RLA Polymers Ltd and BRANZ will be the sole arbitrators in determining the rectification process and the costs involved.
• No liability will be accepted resulting from structural movement, including shrinkage, excessive vibration, deflection or subsidence or unknown environmental conditions that are beyond the control of the manufacturer or installer.
• No liability will be accepted by damage or contributions, resulting in failure, made by a third party.
• No responsibility will be held to a failure within the system due to faulty workmanship. The Licensed Applicator 5 Year Workmanship Warranty, provided by each licensed applicator under their terms and conditions will apply. The Licensed Applicator must supply an Applicators Producer Statement on completion of the application.
• Without the Flexi-Seal approval and guarantee forms being properly filled out, and signed off at time of installation, this warranty becomes void.
• Any installation by other than an approved licensed applicator, makes this warranty void.
• The guarantee also covers the use of the recommended tile adhesives as specified or those specifically approved in writing. Use of alternate adhesives makes this warranty void.
• This warranty applies where “The Flexi-Seal Licensed Waterproofing System” is used in conjunction with the “AKU-Tile 4 INR Acoustic System”, and installed as per the specification outlined within the “AKU-Tile 4 INR Acoustic System” specifications.
